This week on Let’s Talk About Mental Health TV I’m sharing five life hacks for dealing with stress (well, six if you include the bonus tip… the addition of which will likely throw anyone who is obsessed with factual YouTube titles into a whole world of stress).
I talked back in Episode 8 of the podcast about the fact that there is healthy stress and then there’s unhealthy stress, and it’s the unhealthy stuff that will do a number on your sense of wellbeing if you don’t jump on it quickly and get it under control (which is what I explore in this new video, out now).
I’ve found life a lot less stressful ever since I stopped working for other people and also, in general, since I moved to the countryside… but that doesn’t mean I don’t experience stress (because I do); it just tends to be less stressful than it was when I was in an environment and a work situation that wasn’t right for me. I think we all need to think carefully about what is right for each of us as individuals and then put our peace of mind and sense of calm at the top of our priority list… because, frankly, if you don’t then who will?
