“I like London in the rain…” – so goes the laid-back track by Variety Lab. There is definitely something lovely about London when it’s raining (just as long as it’s not zero degrees Celsius with the wind howling – been there for that and I don’t recommend it!). I’m in the throws of a long-term love affair with London, one that has been going since I was a child and has grown over the years. It’s certainly a love-it-or-hate-it place – I’m in the ‘love it’ camp; it’s one of my ‘Happy Places’. My last visit was in 2009 – I’m well overdue for my fix.
I wonder if London misses me as much as I miss it?
